Evening is widely considered the most dramatic entry in the Sailing Boats series, with the setting sun casting deep orange and crimson across the Seto Inland Sea. Jizuri editions frequently realize $4,000-$10,000, and exceptional early impressions with full color saturation have exceeded $15,000 at major auction houses. Even studio editions command $1,800-$4,000. This is one of the most valuable shin-hanga prints in existence.
