"Beauty Arranging Flowers" (ikebana) combines two beloved Japanese subjects: a beautiful woman and the art of flower arrangement. This "Fashions of Today" series bijin-ga was published by Matsuki Heikichi around 1906-1909, predating the 1923 earthquake. Pre-earthquake editions command $1,000-$2,500, while later reprints are $400-$1,000.
